Welcome to Ravinder Yoga School’s 300 hours yoga teacher training course. World-renowned institution Yoga Alliance USA affiliated school offering advanced yoga training both in Mysore style Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow. Our 28 days course begins on the 2nd of every month. Small classes with an intense focus on every individual who would like to become a Senior Yoga instructor.

Our teaching in Gurukul style with backing up of contemporary science makes one fully equipped to teach around the world. The curriculum covers the fundamental elements of yoga based on essential subjects consisting of pranayama –  various breathing techniquesshat kriya – cleansing of the nostril with lukewarm water and thin string and its importance, asana practices  Mysore style Ashtanga asana, Vinyasa Flow, Yoga philosophy – Sutras and 5 limbs of Yoga, Yoga anatomy – the physical aspect of muscles, bones in asanas, relaxation (Yoga Nidra), and meditation

SPECIAL CLASSES FOR 300 HOURS YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE

AYURVEDA SEMINARS

A Special Ayurveda seminar is held in between the courses. These seminars of a few hours and will run for 3 days. A special doctor with an immaculate record of understanding and treating patients on Ayurveda will be delivering on Ayurveda subjects such as food habits, lifestyle etc.

 This seminar includes the study of Doshas- Body type. A special consultation is held for students who would prefer to deepen their knowledge of Ayurveda and alternative treatments. 

The seminar is about the basic know how of ayurvedic. 

What is Ayurveda?

 - Importance of Ayurveda in ancient India.

  • Importance of Ayurveda in our daily life and its applicable to have a  healthy lifestyle.

The topic of explanation are

  1. Five elements. -Fire, Earth, Air and Water.
  2. Personality of person based on the elements.
  1. Doshas - types of body based on the elements.
  2. doshas explantion - Kafa, Pita and Vaata.
  3. Deep explanation of each Doshas, advantages an disadvantage
  4. How to balance doshas in the body.
  5. Food to eat and avoid in order to achieve balance in the doshas.

Those who are willing to have personal appointment for consultation with the doctor for ayurvedic food habits, alternative medicine, treatment etc.

These consultation will be charged by the doctor for very minor fees of $ 20.

SOUND HEALING MEDITATION

At Ravinder Yoga School all our 200, 300 and 500 hours courses have sound healing meditation. Though most meditation classes are Yog Nidra another form of meditation such as Sound healing is added each week. These sound healing classes are an extremely important integral part of meditation in our yoga course. All our Sound healing classes have proved to be desired classes for previous students. 

The relaxation of mind, body and soul is achieved via sound healing

Various sound healing classes involving instruments such as sound bowls, sound forks, drums, gong, hang, tabla, harmonium , didgeridoo etc. 

The classes  guides student to relax and enjoy the sound. The sound can be effective to heal, connect and change the perspective ones thought and bring more clarity. 

Students can discuss with the teacher about sound healing and its importance to yoga and mind.

Teacher can also guide students if interested to further look in to the course of sound healing those are available in Rishikesh.

Special classes can be arranged for those who are interested in learning some instrument. Such classes has to be during off time such as rest time or Sundays.

Students can shop few of the sound healing instruments which they can use for their yoga classes. 

DAILY SCHEDULE FOR 300 HOURS YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

THE MORNING SESSION

this will guide students from early waking in the morning norms to morning exercises that are needed to energise the body and mind to take on the day. 

Satkarma – This cleansing of nostrils ( after all the oxygen and carbon dioxide passage should always be free of obstacles. These get blocked from the previous day.

Breathing exercise – In today’s fast pace working and the living environment we ignore the importance of breathing. We just do not comprehend much about it. It’s the typical form of creation of stress. Breathing excessively is important to allow a continuous movement of oxygen to our lungs. Our exercise also helps bring back the strength to our lungs, and stomach to help regenerate those habits we forgot growing up. 

The Ashtanga asanas – The Ashtanga asanas class wakes us up completely and keeps our energies the whole day.

 

AFTER BREAKFAST SESSION

Classes after breakfast classes are mostly about learning about our body and the yoga philosophy. The classes are very much relaxed and the morning session has given me enough power to be focused. 

 

LATE AFTERNOON SESSION

Vinyasa Flow -multi-series – The evening session is filled with multi-series asanas. The classes are intensive and students are taught to push both mind and body to a level unexpected by the students. This allows students to strengthen their minds and prepares them to be strong mentally and find the true potential hidden deep inside of them.

Meditation – The idea is after a hard asana session in the yoga hall it is also important to relax both the mind and body. The exercise will lead the mind to relax and the body to re-compose. The Sound healing class also brings complete harmony both in mind and body and soul

• 3 times vegetarian meals per day.

• 1 Therapeutic Massage.

• 1 Rafting in the ganges ( depending on the season and weather)

•  Scooty on 3 Excursion day ( These are provided after completing the routine excursion on sundays. The cost of oil as well any damage of the vehicle should be paid by the student)

• All the course materials such as exercise books, pens, books and equipment in schools yoga hall such as rope, belt, block, and a yoga mat, 1 School Tshirt, school bag.

 

• Simply anything one wants to buy personally.

• Special tour to any place.

• Transport to and from Airport or Bus stop ( The school  can organise it for the students)

• Food outside the school.

• Hiring of scooters, and any other vehicles.

• Any adventure such as rafting, mountain climbing etc. 

• Any Yoga equipment.

Any medical bill in case the student suffers from any fever or any other natural causes.  Students should have medical insurance before arriving at the school.
