BEST SCHOOLS FOR 200 HOURS YOGA TEACHER TRAINING RISHIKESH
A Himalayan Yoga Retreat · Tapovan, Rishikesh
Where the Ganges and the mountains hold space for your return to stillness
There are moments — quiet, unremarkable moments — when the noise of the world becomes briefly unbearable. Something older and wiser within us stirs and asks, simply: is this all there is?
As the first light of dawn touches the sacred banks of the Ganges, the practice begins in stillness. Far from the demands of modern life, students gather amidst the natural beauty of Rishikesh to reconnect with something often forgotten — the quiet wisdom within themselves.
Guided by an experienced teacher, each session is far more than physical exercise. Through mindful movement, conscious breathing, and deep awareness, yoga becomes a pathway back to balance, clarity, and inner peace.
Whether you are seeking greater vitality, relief from daily pressures, or a deeper understanding of your true nature, these practices offer a rare opportunity to pause, reflect, and return to what truly matters.
In stillness, the soul remembers its own rhythm.
Yoga is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering who you have always been.
Excursions typically last around four hours and may include a visit to Vashishtha Cave or Kunjapuri Temple. The final destination is chosen by the school and may vary with local conditions.

The mountains, the practice, the stillness — it reset something deep inside me. I left feeling lighter than I have in years.
Ravinder's teaching is unlike anything I encountered before. Practical, warm, deeply rooted. I carry the breathwork with me every single day.
Tapovan is magic. The organic food, the farm walks, the community evenings — I didn't just learn yoga, I lived it. Already planning my return.
